INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
SARAWAK FORESTRY invites university/college graduates
who are passionate in the field of forestry and
biodiversity conservation to do a 2 year internship
program with an option to pursue their career
in these fields with the Company. The program
starts beginning 3rd quarter of each year. The
Company allocates 30 placements each year for
those who are interested. They are to submit

THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Interns will spend 24 months of supervised practical
experience in well-defined areas directly related
to the functions of SARAWAK FORESTRY. They shall
be spending 80% of their training time in the
field doing hands-on work in forestry and biodiversity
conservation. The great outdoors be it in the
national parks, sanctuaries or timber licensed
areas will be their training venues. During the
program, interns' performance will be monitored
and appraised by the Company. While undergoing
this program interns will be paid training allowances
and provided with other benefits like insurance,
medical, paid annual leave and traveling benefits.
INTERNS ELIGIBILTY:
Preferably Sarawakian whose age is less than 30
years old majoring in Natural Resource Sciences,
IT, Business, Legal Studies, Parks Management
and Social Sciences with good CGPA. Those with
proven leadership abilities and involvement in
extracurricular activities would have an edge
over other applicants. Proficiency in written
and conversational English is a must.
