Kuching, Thursday, 5 February 2009 – SARAWAK FORESTRY today marks the completion of its relocation exercise and occupancy of its new office building at Kota Sentosa with a Doa Selamat.

SARAWAK FORESTRY ushered the New Year 2009 - Year of the Ox with relocation to the new premise.  The corporate office and Kuching regional office commenced its business at a new address:

Datu Hj. Len Talif Salleh, SARAWAK FORESTRY’s Managing Director cum CEO said “the relocation of this key office will provide more amenable environments for our customers and improve employee facilities”. 

Adding to that “SARAWAK FORESTRY’s needs to accommodate company plan and to provide one stop services to our customers in Kuching”.

“The new location at Kota Sentosa have what it needs to accommodate our team of over 170 staff for our corporate and Kuching regional office.  We are committed to deliver quality service to our customers and the relocation to our new premise will enhance our efforts to achieve our goals” Len Talif explained.

SARAWAK FORESTRY is now strategically located close to the main gateway to Kuching -  the Kuching International Airport.

Also in attendance were Ustaz Mohammad Ihsan Haidzir, Penolong Imam Besar Negeri Sarawak, media representatives, head of management and staff of SARAWAK FORESTRY.  During the ceremony, a recital of Doa Selamat and a special talk on ‘Hijrah’ was delivered by Ustaz Mohammad Ihsan. The ceremony ended with Assar Prayer at SARAWAK FORESTRY’s Surau.
