28 October 2018:
Carlos, a 17-year-old Bornean Orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus pygmaeus) finally arrived at Matang Wildlife Centre on 26 October 2018, after being cared for and bred at Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island Foundation (BMOUIF), Perak, for a number of years. It was a long time coming and the largely healthy Carlos will remain in quarantine for a period of time before being made accessible to public view.
