RESCUED HORNBILL COUPLE HANDED OVER TO SFC

SIBU, 30 NOVEMBER 2017 – A pair of Oriental Pied Hornbills which lost their way in a factory, Tanjung Manis Funiture were rescued by a kind-hearted worker Musni Jemawi and subsequently handed over to the management of SARAWAK FORESTRY Corporation (SFC) in Sibu and later will be taken to the Matang Wildlife Centre.

Possession of this totally protected bird is punishable by imprisonment for 2 years and a fine of RM25,000.
