SFC SWAT TEAM DISCOVERS BODY PARTS OF SUSPECTED CROCODILE ATTACK VICTIM

17 March 2019 : A crocodile was captured on 17.03.2019 afternoon after a man of foreign nationality went missing at an oil palm plantation in Bintangor since March 9, believed to have been attacked by the reptile.

SFC SWAT team was dispatched to the location to hunt down the crocodile which attacked and killed Yosep Tefa. The 14-foot long crocodile was brought to shore by villagers and culled during an operation at Sungai Stubah.


Some body parts were found inside the crocodile’s abdomen and they were sent to the police for forensic DNA analysis. CEO of SFCSB, Haji Zolkipli extended his gratitude to Maradong Police Station, Bomba Tanjung Manis, JPAM Plantation and local community for their assistance in the operation.
