The Royal Highness, Prince of Wales visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre received a royal visit from The Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales on 6 November 2017 accompanied by YB Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports. Upon arrival, the Prince was taken to the orangutan living area to enable him to have a closer look at these primates. He was then briefed by the Chief Executive Officer of SARAWAK FORESTRY, Mr. Wong Ting Chung on SWC’s operations as well as orangutan conservation in Sarawak. Also present during the visit were SFC’s senior management, SWC personnel and officers from British High Commission.
